In this article, I will walk you through step-by-step with pictures of how my keto calculator is set up. Don’t worry, no one will see your stats unless you share them, but for demonstration purposes, I’m putting it out there that I weigh 190 lbs(185 now but took me a bit to post this)., and I am a shorty coming in at 5’4. I love when one item has a MILLION different purposes, especially if all of those purposes are for eating! In related news: Cheese is the most magically delicious thing ever (second to bacon obviously). This gift from the cow gods is so multi-functional it can be used for sweet and savory dishes, and can be added to just about ANYTHING to make it better, (except coffee...DON’T ask me how I know this, I finally managed to suppress the memory). There are so many different textures, flavors, and types of cheese, which is wonderful news for us, because doing the Keto diet lends itself to exploring cheese in its all its glory. 2 Min Guacamole & Bacon Chips
4 slices of Bacon (Thick cut bacon so it doesn't break when you dip...or double dip! We're not judging.)
4 tbsp Salsa Verde (I get the Trader Joe's kind as its low carb and delish)
Garlic salt (I ♡ Trader Joe's garlic salt!)
Cook Bacon. Cut bacon into 3 or 4 sections Lay bacon in a pan (glass or metal) and place in the oven. I cook mine at 350 till it looks right (about 15 min until all the fat is rendered). You can go with the bacon being a bit fattier or cook it until it’s really crispy - it is up to you!

Every diet/lifestyle change site talks about setting yourself up for success, and the ketogenic diet is no different. There is a bit of planning that goes into any big change, so to stay on track I keep my pantry (and fridge) stocked with the following 15 items:

Bacon Ranch Deviled Egg
One day a major craving hit me, like Betty White getting tackled in that Snicker's commercial.
I wanted loaded potato skins and I wanted them NOW.
You just aren't you when you're hungry.
Alas, how could I make sure this craving was cured with a low/no carb option??
And then it hit me: Bacon ranch deviled eggs were born.
Praise the Low Carb gods!
